The Ohio National Ayrshire Futurity for Two-Year-Old Cows, held in conneciton with the Ohio State Fair, is a project of the Ohio Ayrshire Breeders' Association, to promote interest in the breeding and exhibiting of better Ayrshires. The Futurity shall be governed by a committee of three Ayrshire breeders, one of which shall be the President or Vice-President ofthe Ohio Ayrshire Breeders's Association, the Futurity Secretary, and one non-director appointed by the President. All matters pertaining to the showing of animals in the Futurity are subject to the rules, regulations and health requirements of the Ohio State Fair.
Females that have been nominated and paid in advance, in accordance with the following rules are eligible to complete in the Ohio National Ayrshire Two-Year-Old Futurity. If all three-futurity payments are made that animal must show in the Ohio State Fair Futurity Class.

| Eligibility: |
Any registered Ayrshire female owned by a breeder anywhere in the United States that was born from September 1, 2005 to August 31, 2006. |
| Fees: |
1st payment of $4.00 per head is due by May 1, 2007.
2nd payment of $8.00 per head is due by December 10, 2007
3rd payment of $13.00 per head is due by July 1, 2008.
Full payments of $25.00 per head may be made at the first payment. |

| Purse |
| The purse for this event shall consist of a $1,500 fund from the Ohio State Fair and all monies received by the Ohio National Ayrshire Futurity Committee as nomination fees, or other contributions less the expenses incurred in its promotion and management. These additional awards have been added in celebration of 50 years of Ohio Ayrshire Futurities: |
- Everyone who enters will be eligible for a drawing of prizes.

- Everyone who shows will receive a commemorative keepsake and be eligible for a drawing of a semen tank and other prizes.

- The 2008 Ohio Futurity winner will receive $2000 for first place.
|
- The highest placing junior entry owned and shown by a junior exhibitor is guaranteed at least $500, second highest placing junior entry $300..

| The purse shall be divided as follows: |
First place $2000 |
Second place $1500 |
Third place $750 |
| Fourth place $500 |
|
Fifth place $300 |
All other places will be divided equally from balance of prize and entry monies. |
| Conditions |
| When nomination fees or subsequent payments are made they are committed to the purse and no refunds will be allowed. Should any condition arise which prevents the showing of the Futurity, the right is reserved to cancel same and refund to the persons owning animals that had been nominated, their pro-rated share of all monies accrued after the deductions of expenses in the promotion of this Futurity. With the following exception, no refund to any entries that have been entered and then have been ineligible due to lack of non-payment of second or third nomination fee: |
- When an animal that is entered in the Ohio National Ayrshire Futurity is sold, the seller shall inform the buyer that this animal is entered in the Futurity. It shall be the buyer's responsibility to notify the Futurity Secretary of the change in ownership and to pay subsequent fees when due to remain eligible to show.

| The Ohio National Ayrshire Futurity Committee of the Ohio Ayrshire Breeders' Association is in no way responsible for the condition of the premises at which the Futurity is held or liable in the event of accident or loss to persons or property. |
